Betrayal at House on the Hill
Board game for 3 to 6 players exploring a haunted house room by room as a team. Surprises and mysteries await as they proceed, eventually discovering who among their group is a traitor.
Each player chooses a character card. Their traits (Speed, Might, Knowledge, and Sanity) start at the marked defaults for each character. Note that every character has different rates by which they increase and decrease in each trait. If any trait reaches the skull, the character dies.
The house begins with the combined Entrance Hall / Foyer / Grand Staircase tile. All players start in the Entrance Hall.
A player is randomly chosen as the starting player. Going clockwise, everyone takes turns exploring the house. During their turn, the active player can do as many of the following actions as they want in any order.
